Mega March Madness at Shultzy's

If you're an NCAA March Madness fan and you're planning to hit it big with your bracket picks, Shultzy's is the place to be. We've subscribed to the Mega March Madness package, so we'll have all 63 games available on TV (not just what CBS decides to send to the west coast). This is especially important on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, when there are so many games on at once.

Kansas fans, Kentucky fans, Cornell fans... come on down!

And of course, we'll have the UW HUSKIES and Gonzaga Bulldogs featured on multiple screens.

No Huskies-Oregon TV tonight. :(

Sadly, tonights UW Huskies-Oregon basketball game isn't being broadcast on TV, so you can't watch it hear. But, we will still run our usual GO Huskies! deal and give you your first IPA for 2.99 during the game. While you're enjoying your beer, you can watch stick figures act out the Huskies-Oregon game on CBS's Gametracker or you can enjoy the NBA's Jazz-Suns game and pretend that the team in the lead is the Huskies.

Happily, Saturday's UW-Huskies-Oregon St. game will be televised as usual, as well as all the Huskies games in next week's Pac-10 tournament.

New Bottled Beers at Shultzy's

We've added a few bottled beers to our lineup that you might like...

New Grist Beer from Milwaukee, WI's Lakefront Brewery is a gluten-free beer. It's made from Sorghum, and it's quite tasty, so now our gluten-sensitive customers can choose between two different gluten-free beers at Shultzy's -- New Grist and Red Bridge beers.

Left Hand Sawtooth (Longmont, CO) is a beer we've had on tap numerous times, but we wanted it to be available every day, so we've added it to our bottled beer selection. The New York Times called Sawtooth the world's greatest ESB, and it's certainly one of our favorites.

Sam Smith's Pale Ale (England) is a great example of an English pale ale, and a great beer with food. It's only pale in comparison to the porters that dominated the market prior to its introduction -- it's balance of hops and malt makes it immensely satisfying.

Finally, we have a few bottles of Bateman's XXXB bitter. Superb strong bitter with a complex palate, consisting of a delicate aroma of hops delightfully balanced by a prominent malty character. 5 times 'Premium Beer of the Year' at CAMRA's Great British Beer Festival. If you enjoy it, we'll order more.
