Some Seattle Beer Week 2011 Photos

Mike, Matt, and Don show off their lederhosen.

Luckily, Andy from Bayern Brewing had the strength of ten mortals
to carry the 54L wooden keg around and hammer in the tap.

Andy & Don do their best not to spill a drop of
precious Bayern Summer Bock.

Andy and Don celebrate the rewards of a job well done...

...but Andy was interested in pursuing a different kind of reward.

Don't miss Beer "Survivor" tonight!

3 kegs of German dunkel beer compete to see which will make it to Shultzy’s in Seattle and which will be left waiting on the docks. YOU decide their fates!

It’s like American Idol, but with drinking instead of all that annoying singing.

The HOP Italian is back!

If it's Seattle Beer Week, it must be the annual return of Shultzy's limited edition "Hop" Italian sausage links. We take our popular Hot Italian sausage recipe and make it a little wilder and even more beer-friendly with the addition of aromatic Pacific Northwest hops. It's in limited supply and will only be around for a short while, so have one while you can -- pair it with an IPA or the Seattle Beer Week's Maritime Pacific Decompression Ale to make it even more hoptastic.

Seattle Beer Week: Chuckanut at Shultzy's

No, you're not seeing things with our current beer lineup, we have five (!) awesome Chuckanut Brewery beers on tap today, in honor of Seattle Beer Week. These are some of the finest German-style beers you'll find anywhere, and we're thrilled that they're brewed less than 90 minutes away.

And tonight, Will Kemper, founder and head brewer of Chuckanut will be visiting Shultzy's along with his brewing team to have a few beers and answer any questions you might have about the brewery and its beers. To make it even more of a celebration, Chuckanut Kölsch is only 3.99 for a 16 oz. pint all day long, and from 7pm on, ALL FIVE Chuckanut beers will be only 3.99.

So, enjoy the sunshine, come on out, and celebrate some great German-style beers right here in Seattle.
