Beer School next Wednesday (January 25th)

Shultzy's will be doing another of our Beer School classes on Wednesday night, January 25th, from 6-8pm. Professor Mike Baker will be presiding as always and bring malts, hops, 10+ different beers from the major genres, and we'll even have a snack, too! Beer School 101 covers the basics of beer appreciation and will leave you a more discerning and knowledgeable drinker. If you've wondered about the difference between lagers and ales or the origins of the IPA and the differences between British and American IPAs, this is the class for you.

Here are the details:

• Date and time: Wednesday, January 25th, 6-8pm
• Course: Beer 101: Introduction to Beer Tasting. Learn and understand the differences between lagers and ales (the two principal types of beer). See, feel, and taste malt and hops and understand their contributions to flavor. Enjoy a guided tasting through the major genres of beer to find your favorites and learn the characteristics associated with each type.
• Cost: $20 for tastes of 10+ beers, a snack, instruction, and a diploma
• Limited to 25 students only!!!
• RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED and prepayment is necessary to guarantee your reservation
